What are your jackets made of?

United Sport Apparel takes pride in the quality of our jackets. All of our jackets are custom made by hand incorporating only the finest quality wool, leather and chenille materials available.

Can you supply jackets throughout the USA?

Yes, we supply varsity jackets to high schools across the country.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, please contact us at sales@unitedsportapparel.com for more information and for a shipping quote.

What is the turn-around time from initial order?

Every varsity jacket is hand-made in our Fairfield, NJ facility and is custom-made to your specifications. Therefore, production takes about 8 – 10+ weeks following confirmation depending on volume and season. Please allow 2 to 6 days for delivery.

How will my jacket be delivered?

We usually ship via UPS ground. Please do not use a post office box as a shipping address. All orders are shipped F.O.B. Fairfield, NJ.

For each additional $100.00 or fraction thereof, add $18.00 for all categories. For any shipments via UPS air within the continental US, add $25 for all categories. Call us at 1-800-736-7342 for information on shipping to other locations.
What if I don’t want my order insured?

Freight insurance is 2% of your merchandise total and is automatically added to your order. If you do not want to have insurance, please contact us at sales@unitedsportapparel.com.

What if I need to adjust or cancel my order?

Your order can be modified within five days of receipt, but after production has begun, an adjustment or cancellation penalty will apply.

Which credit cards do you accept for payment?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Your satisfaction is important to us. Any garment found to be defective, will be replaced or repaired at our cost. We offer a LIFETIME GUARANTEE on all seams of made-to-order jackets. If any seam ever opens, for any reason, we will repair it at no charge.

What is your return/claim policy?

In all cases, a return authorization number is required. Please call United Sport Apparel customer service at 1.800.736.7342.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation; does that mean my order didn’t go through?

You should have received an order confirmation via email on completion of check out. If you did not receive one, please call United customer service at 1.800.736.7342 and we will be happy to help you.

Can I place an order for multiple jackets?

You cannot add multiple jackets to your cart however, if you would like to purchase multiple jackets, then please contact us at sales@unitedsportapparel.com so we can assist you.

Do you supply discounts to bulk purchases of jackets like schools and sporting groups?

We offer discounts for team and group orders over 25 jackets. Contact us at sales@unitedsportapparel.com for further details.

What other groups have been supplied jackets?

We have manufactured jackets for special events, clubs, non athletic organizations and corporate accounts. We have also provide jackets to the fashion industry both in the US and overseas.

Why isn’t my high school listed?

We frequently update the schools listed, but may not have yours. If you are interested in setting up a design template for your high school, please have your Athletic Director contact us at sales@unitedsportapparel.com for further details.

Can you arrange fabric samples?

Yes, we can provide wool and leather samples to ensure you are selecting the correct colors for your school. Contact us at sales@unitedsportapparel.com.

How do I determine my size?

We assure you a good fit on all made-to-order jackets. Measure your chest, add 2” to that measurement, and follow our sizing chart to select your size. If you need assistance check out the How To Measure guide on our website or contact us at 1.800.736.7342.

Does my jacket require special care?

Yes, we recommend that you professionally dry-clean your jacket.

Do you have other products available?

Yes. In addition to our varsity jackets, we offer a full line of custom banners that can be tailored by sport, team, organization and event. What if I already have my own varsity letter?

For an additional charge, send us your varsity letter and we will sew it onto your jacket. Please include your name and order number with your letter and mail it to: United Sport Apparel, 20 Gloria Lane, Fairfield, NJ 07004.

When is your showroom open in Fairfield, NJ??

Our showroom is open 9 AM – 5 PM Mon – Fri. Appointments can take place starting at 9:30 AM, with the last appointment for the day at 4:30 PM. We are also closed each year on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Christmas Day.
